In the Philippines, on November 8, 2013, there was a big disaster called a typhoon. A typhoon is a tropical storm in the region of the western Pacific Oceans. Almost 5,000 people are feared dead and some 8,000 are displaced. The United States is trying to help the Philippines by donating money.
A lot of Americans are doing their best to save homeless families and the Philippines. Almost the whole United States is doing a great thing donating. The best we can do is hope.
